In May of 2008, I visited New Orleans...again. As I was sitting, enjoying my beignets,coffee and the cool morning breeze, a gentleman arrived in the street outside. I watched as he and his partner setup their little stand of cd's and took out some musical instruments. And then they played. Wow! The music was catching and vibrant. It woke my soul as much as the coffee woke my body. Of course I took pictures. The pictures were good but didn't quite bring out the spirit of the music I heard. So I started playing with this image and here's what came out. I hope you enjoy the image as much as I enjoyed the wonderful musicians of New Orleans that day. And of course, I did buy 2 cd's on the way out.
