Description
August 2005, Hurricane slammed into the gulf coast of Mississippi and Louisianna. Before hurricane Katrina these stairs led up to a grand home. Three years later and they only lead to a clean up crew. Taken May 2008.

Thank you John. I was stationed with the Air Force in Biloxi for 8.5 years in the mid 80's to early 90's. I was fond of that area. I had a couple more visits before 2000. I saw pictures of the damage from 2005 but they didn't prepare me for what I saw in 2008. Most of the area was in the same condition as this house. A very sad and sobering sight.
